Tutorials by Graham Timmins

Based on over 100 hours of teaching material, what better way to inform and entertain than to present clear and inspiring tutorials on all aspects of making paintings. The tutorials themselves are presented in a clear and direct manner honed over many years with the accent on practical demonstration of the material covered and an accompanying worksheet prepared for the purpose.

These tutorials are the practical expressions of the craft of painting, the essential knowledge that all painters should be aware of, divorced from the more academic pursuits of fine art appreciation and theoretical considerations.

After all, the joy of drawing and painting has been a natural expression of mankind since men lived in caves. It is in this spirit that these tutorials are presented to those interested in the sheer joy of making marks.

More tutorials are prepared every week and are suitable for presentation to art clubs, schools or individual groups. I am available as a tutor for painting holidays, private art groups, and organisations in the leisure industry, including cruise liners.
